Marathwada Accelerator for Growth & Incubation Council (MAGIC) is a Section 8 company (Not-for-Profit Organization), a Business Incubator (BI) and SME Accelerator, established in 2018 and it is India’s first Regional Industry association led organization promoted by the members of the Chamber of Marathwada Industries and Agriculture (CMIA). MAGIC acts as an extended arm of the Government of Maharashtra and the Government of India for promoting governments various schemes and programs for startups and supporting entrepreneurship in India. Recognized by the Maharashtra State Innovation Society (MSInS), Startup India Seed Fund Scheme (SISFS), Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Ministry of Defence’s Innovation for Defence Excellence (iDEX), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY – GENESIS), and NITI Aayog’s Atal Innovation Mission (AIM).

Since 2019, MAGIC has been driving impactful innovation challenges, with our Annual Innovation Challenge as the flagship event. Now in its 6th edition, the Defence Innovation Challenge for Excellence (DICE) 2024 focuses on Defence technologies, aligning with national priorities. This year’s challenge addresses critical areas like AI/ML, Cybersecurity, Aerospace, and Naval Systems. We are excited to bring together innovators from across the country to develop groundbreaking solutions for India’s defence sector.
