MAGIC to host Startup Weekend on May 27-28
The two-day event will include a Startup expo, Expert Talks, Bootcamp -Design Thinking Workshop and an award ceremony of IFIC- a national-level innovation challenge.

Marathwada Accelerator for Growth and Incubation Council (MAGIC) has organized an event with the aim of providing a platform to startups in Marathwada region and connecting them with startup stakeholders. On Saturday 27 May and Sunday 28th May 2023, MAGIC Startup Weekend, powered by SIDBI has been organized at Marathwada Auto Cluster.
MAGIC Startup Weekend activities will provide a big platform for startups to present their products/services. The two-day event will provide expert guidance, funding support, new technologies, and in-depth information on marketing critical to developing the industry. The initiative aims to inspire students to turn to entrepreneurship and support those who have embarked on the journey of entrepreneurship.
Startup Expo
The MAGIC Startup Weekend initiative will provide an opportunity to select prototype ready and revenue stage startups to present their products/services through an expo and get customer feedback.

Design Thinking Workshop
A two-day Bootcamp has been organized with a design thinking workshop. Focusing on innovation, product development, entrepreneurship and future skills, this technical workshop will focus on the importance of innovation in product design and demonstrate the nuances of product design. During the Weekend, various seminars have been organized under the guidance of experts on various important topics related to the startup sector.

Award Distribution Ceremony of winners of Innovate for India Challenge
A national innovation challenge ‘MAGIC-Innovate for India Challenge 2022’ was organized to encourage entrepreneurs to transform their innovative ideas into commercially viable ventures. A total of 314 startups in the country participated in the competition, out of which 3 startups each of Prototype Ready and Revenue stage were selected after 3 rounds of selection. A prize distribution program will be held during this startup weekend. The winners of the Challenge will be awarded a trophy, certificate and prize fund along with incubation and other support from MAGIC Incubator and SME Accelerator.
